Sinus II – The Memory Machine (2015) is a video work at the intersection of comics and animation. Through minimal movement, drawn characters inhabit a world of charcoal textures, memories and strange encounters.

Looking back at this work, I recognise how much I have always been drawn to atmosphere and world-building. A clearly defined plot was less important to me. Scenes emerged through visualisation and dreams: images that surfaced from my subconscious and gradually found their place. That approach continues to inform the films I make today, including my work with generative tools.

Originally presented as a three-screen installation, Sinus II was later shown at festivals in both two-screen and single-channel versions, in full or as excerpts. This is the complete single-channel version.
